Day 257 - Frost Laws On

It's day 257 and the frost laws went into effect yesterday morning. This means we can't bring any heavy trucks down the street until the frost in the ground has thawed. Today was the first day we walked on our new basement floor which looks amazing!!

Also, I purchased the first plumbing fixture for the house, a pot filler!! So excited! 

Day 256 - Basement Floor Curing

We are very lucky to have poured two days before the frost laws went into effect! It's too soon to walk on the floor but I was able to capture some pics. 

Also, the fireplace guy came today to put out fireplace vent through the roof. 

Day 254 - Basement Poured

Today the basement was poured, finally! Although the crew was working on it all day, my dad was able to visit and capture some pics for me. 

We had to use a pump truck to pour since the truck couldn't reach. 

Also this week, our electrician came to finish most of the rough electrical. Bricks and stone are delivered and that should start end of the month.
